Humans are social creatures. We need friendships for the success of others in our lives, and the strength of our relationships has a huge impact on our mental health and happiness. 


Collective relationships with others can reduce stress, anxiety and frustration, boost self-confidence, bring peace and happiness, prevent loneliness and even add years to your life. On the other hand, lack of strong social relationships can pose serious risks to your mental and emotional health.


In today's world, many of us rely on social media like Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, YouTube and Instagram to find each other. Everyone has benefits, but it's important to remember that social media can never replace real human communication.



 Activating hormones requires face-to-face contact with others which reduces stress and makes you feel happier, healthier and more positive. Ironically, for technology designed to bring people together, spending too much time on social media can make you feel lonely and alone, and increase mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
